Women of Grace

So I have started a Catholic program with four other girls/women called "Women of Grace" http://www.lhla.org/ and I LOVE it. I can't believe how much I am getting out of it. I don't want to write to much about it, because I am a terrible writer and I can't do it justice, but just one quote that stood out to me today.

"All prayer is simply a response to God's unconditional love for us and His invitation to experience that love. In prayer, God lifts our hearts and minds to Him as we desire to completely surrender to His action in us. Through prayer, God calls us into intimacy with Him, and intimacy that transforms us, an intimacy that imbues us with His presence, an intimacy that is life-giving."

Rusty!

Well, Mr. Rusty has been living up to his name. I took him to his well baby check appointment today and he is HEALTHY! He weighs 15.5 pounds, and is 24.75 inches long. He did very well, and so did little Red. She was happy to sit in her stroller and watch. Rusty is just over the 100th percentile for height and weight and his head is in the fiftieth percentile.

Love him!

CLARE!

Alright- sooo Miss Clare has been living up to her red haired stubborn attitude!

#1

Yesterday she wanted a sip of my water that was on the in-table next to me. I told her she could have her own water and handed her a sippy cup. She then proceeded to swat at my glass, knowing that there wasnt much I could do because I was nursing Paul (nursing seems to trump everything I do, since Paul freaks if he isnt eating ALL the time). So I held her hand firmly and told her NO. She then gave up and smiled at me. I am thinking *yay I won* just as she forcefully shoves the entire in table over including my large glass of lemon sparkling water (fave ever) alllll over the newly cleaned carpets. PERFECT. Needless to say- I did end up winning the battle, but we wont go into details there. What Clare needs to figure out is she got her stubborn personality from someone and that someone is her Momma :) Not her laid back father. (maybe Paul will get his attitude from his Dad...please please please)

#2

I have been teaching Clare how to put her toys away. So Grandma was showing her how to put the tupperware back in the tupperware drawer. Grandma put a couple pieces in and then handed one to Clare and Clare put a couple in. Then Clare decided to play Grandma and started handing the tupperware to Grandma to put in the drawer and verbally directing her to. It was priceless :)
